How Uobo-Connect handles call recording, transcription, and voice data.

Notice of Recording
Calls handled through Uobo-Connect may be recorded, transcribed, and stored for quality assurance, training, and service improvement purposes. By continuing with a call routed through our platform, callers acknowledge and consent to this recording.
Purpose of Recording
Recordings are used to:
- Monitor and improve conversation quality and accuracy.
- Train and refine our voice AI systems.
- Review escalations and resolve service disputes.
- Generate structured lead and service records for dealership partners.
Data Retention
Call recordings and transcripts are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by applicable law. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the interaction and the contractual requirements of the dealership partner handling the call.
Access and Deletion
If you believe your call was recorded in error, or if you wish to request access to or deletion of a specific recording, contact us at privacy@uobo.ca. We will review requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including PIPEDA and any relevant provincial regulations.
Third-Party Infrastructure
Voice processing and transcription are performed using encrypted, SOC 2-aligned cloud infrastructure. Audio data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard encryption and access controls.
Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this disclosure from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
